Winnie Shabazz, MA CWP

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, I am proudly a super daddy's girl, and my mother doubles as my best friend and talented Calligrapher! Additionally, I am a proud two-time alumna of the illustrious Bowie State University.
 

During my childhood, I explored my passion for movement through dance and also engaged as a traveling volleyball player. My participation in team sports instilled in me a deep appreciation for "collaboration over competition". The transformative experience of teamwork fuels the emphasis I place on collaboration within the packages I offer.
 

Fearless, optimistic, and possessing a magnetic personality, I am a leader who delights in spreading smiles. Happiness is not something I wait for; rather, I actively seek joy in every moment. My innate gift lies in uniting people and nurturing those connections.

Weddings hold a special place in my heart, serving as my ultimate 'happy place'. My journey into DIY projects and event planning began when I joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in 2008. Personalized gifts, elaborate themes, and all things that shimmer and shine captivate my imagination. Planning non-traditional milestone celebrations excites me because, after all, the time to celebrate is always now!
